Week 14 - Things Are Getting Better
Well, I'm still alive and all is well. the language is still hard but its getting better, we taught a bunch of lessons this week and my role in the lessons has been to recite the first vision and its gone pretty good haha we had a giant lunch with some members this week we had soup, lasagna, bread, chicken, potatoes, rice, and flan hhaha it was crazy. probs one of the best meals I've had here. i stepped in dog poop twice that was great. we visited this little old lady in our ward she's 95 and i was sitting there thinking man her house smells soooooo bad and then i looked at my shoe and it had poop all over it hahah yay. we had an awesome youth activity where all the mission aries in the stake took the youth out street contacting and gave them missionary experiences but the activity was like 2 hours away from us on bus, then 2 boats, then metro, then walking.... it was nuts. oh the old lady gives everyone a flower name and she told me that I'm an orchid because im tall, skinny, and expensive... i was like great thanks lady... ill be gaining weight soon though bc we go and get a chocolate croissant like everyday and all i eat is bread and cheese. everyone here looks like the next kanye or enrique iglesias. not the worst thing thats happened to me haha jk all in all im still alive and have a better concept of whats going on. we are about half way through the transfer here, my guess is ill be here in Barrerio for another transfer but i don't really know. i love you all! thanks for everything!!!!
